CJ Mantel began attending CONvergence in 2008 during our 10th anniversary celebration. The next year she began volunteering in Connie’s Quantum Sandbox, and in 2010 joined the convention committee as a Sandbox sub-head. She served there as sub-head, co-head, and specialist until 2020 when she moved to Wordslingers Way just in time to do nothing as a sub-head except attend meetings thanks to COVID.

When not volunteering with CONvergence, CJ is a costume designer for local theater, a program administrator at a local university, and probably going to pick up another new craft this week.
